IMDB rating: 5.70 Plot: Two totally incompetent applicants, Emmett Fitzhume and Austin Millbarge, are chosen from a CIA recruitment program. They are parachuted into Pakistan and eventually end up in Afghanistan, chased by the Russians, where they learn they are being used as decoys to draw out the Sovet defenses. Two real spies are sent in. Their mission is to Hijack a soviet Missile launcher, launch the Soviet missile and test the new US orbital defence laser. The missile is fired and while heading for an American City, the laser system misses it’s target. The contingency plan for this scenario, as set out by the Pentagon Nuts who planned it from deep within a secret underground bunker, is to let the 3rd World War happen anyway. |

Should I be mad ate her, and break things off?
I met this girl at school who is really cool. She always talks to me, or comes and picks me out of a group of people, even waits around on me for me to walk her to her apartment. She would invite me in and stuff, and we would be watching a movie on the couch and stuff, with or with out her roomate?. I’ve been trying to take things slow, plus i am shy, so I would create room between us on the couch. She always cuddles right up next to me though. When we are talking I try to make it seem as if I’m not super interested and what not. We have even kissed a couple times, her initiating, and me making it quick. So I try to put out signs that I’m not really going for a relationship even though I like her. Just to see if she is genuinely interested. Which it seems that she is.
Well a few weeks ago, we were standing in line, she was backing into me, which she also always does, and i happened to see her cell screen. She was talking to some guy and said she missed him and loved him. I was a little upset, so I backed up real quick to create space, but she backs right into me again. i didnt say anything cause i didnt want her to think I was spying on her. Then a few days later me and her roomate were talking about random stuff. Then I started saying how cool Em was and she asks me if I could fight, and I was confused. She said "Well, when you are taking what isn’t yours you should be ready to fight." Then she walked off and never said anything again. Im thinking she was talking about Em’s maybe boyfriend, but I dont know.
So, does she have a boyfreind? should I be mad at her for not saying anything? and should I break things off now?
No, she still does all that stuff, and she doesn’t have a brother or a close cousin. And I’m not really playing games. I’ve been hurt in the past by misinterpreting signals from flirtatious girls, so i’ve learned that creating space and stepping back shows who is genuinely interested and who is just flirting. Also, while we aren’t official, we might as well be, if you get my point. And I was going to ask her to be my GF, but then all of this happened.
Oh ya, and before I saw the text. I asked her who was taking up all that phone time and she said it was just some guy. I just cant tell if its he’s a floater or an actual BF
First of all, I am confused by your actions, extra space on the couch, trying to seem not interested, and trying to "put signs out that [you're] not going for a relationship." So basically by doing all of these things you are appearing as though you are NOT interested, so you can see if she IS interested? There is not much logic in that. It sounds as though you were playing "games" and games are not the best way to go about a relationship of any kind.
From your actions she might have assumed you weren’t into her and just a friend. She sounded like she was interested at you at one point but you blew things off by acting not so interested. Maybe this boyfriend came about after the kissing and cuddling on the couch after she decided you weren’t interested. Or maybe she was talking to her brother and telling him she loved and missed him, those are things I’d tell my brother.
As far as breaking things off now, from what you have said, it doesn’t sound like you are together. But maybe you have left out some information and from what I have read and understood I am wrong. There is my two cents, take it for what it is worth to you, maybe nothing.
