There are actually only EIGHT places in the Bible where homosexuality is condemned. And in each place, the situation is ABSURD.

1) Adam, and Eve not Adam and Steve. ABSURDITY–Adam and Eve had the most disfunctional family in history. Cain killed Abel, and their surviving children all committed incest.

2) Sodom and Gomorrah: ABSURDITY– Lot the hero escapes. He gets his own daughters pregnant. He is not punished for this. But his wife is destroyed for TURNING AROUND.

3) Leviticus says Homosexuality is an Abomination unto the Lord. ABSURDITY–It also says Lobster is an Abomination unto the Lord.

4) Exodus says Homosexuality is wrong. ABSURDITY– Exodus 21: 7 Says you may sell your daughter as a maidservant. Exodus 35:2 Says to kill people who work on the Sabbath.

5) Romans 1:29 Says Homosexuals deserve death. ABSURDITY–Romans 1:30 Says Gossips deserve Death.

6) I Corinthians Homosexuality is wrong. ABSURDITY Corinthians also says long hair on a man is wrong, short hair on a woman is wrong, women have to cover their heads, and women must be quiet in church.

7) Timothy says Homosexuality is wrong. ABSURDITY– Timothy also says fine dresses, wearing pearls or gold jewelry, or braiding your hair is wrong.

Jude says Homosexuality is wrong. It is simple regurgitation of Sodom and Gomorrah, discussed above.

We gays look at the FACT that JESUS never once condemned homosexuality. And Neither do the Ten Commandments.

1. It just shows that they were man and woman. Nothing to argue about.
2. It never ceases to amaze me how many Atheists know nothing of this story. These two cities weren’t destroyed because there were some gay people there (I don’t suppose you support the fact that these men wanted to rape Lot’s visitors). The cities were destroyed because they completely abandoned God and common sense. It made perfect sense to them to be able to rape newcomers and for someone to offer up their daughters for sex. I’m done. It’s obvious that you haven’t read the Bible, just took some verses off of a site or from another Atheist. I can tell by your interpretation of Romans and Timothy. Paul obviously wasn’t against people dressing nice, because Jesus himself dressed quite nicely. However, Paul simply points out something you have been told since you were a child. What’s on the outside doesn’t matter, it’s what’s inside that matter.

This is why many Christians don’t get along with the Atheists on R&S. Because many Atheists just pull out pieces of the Bible without reading the whole thing, lie about what the Bible says, or slant verses in their favor. It’s just like when Christians misinterpret Dawkin’s writings.

US Capitol facts and trivia sources?
In his book "The Lost Symbol" Dan Brown mentions a few interesting tidbits of trivia and facts surrounding the U.S. Capitol Building(I’m only on chap 16). These range from bloodstained stairways to stuffed horses in sealed off chambers to ghosts who roam the halls. Yet when I attempted to find out more info on this my web searches turned up practically nil. I know there has to be more info out there(especially since Dan Brown only mentioned three ghosts when reports claim more than 10 exist). Does anyone know where to find out more trivia and little know facts about the Capitol. I could care less that senators don’t bathe on every second tuesday of months that end in y, but I am curious about mysteries, odd items and little known hidden messages. Other trivia on additional buildings of interest in D.C are also welcomed.

Try your search backwards; architects try to incorporate "symbolism" all the time. You need to start your search from the architect and then go to the building. Try the book "The Secret Architecture of Our Nation’s Capital: The Masons and the building of Washington, DC" by David Ovason. This will take you in the direction of sources that will show you what the designers were trying to incorporate into the aesthetics. Do an Amazon search for the book, and it will suggest others that are "like minded". Then search Freemasons; learn their symbols and you will recognize them when you see them. Lastly, I’d try a search of folklore in DC, capitol building, etc. to get the stories past down over generations that may not have been associated in your searches of the building.

You have to understand the people living in the time; what they believed in, what they would want remembered, what they would want hidden. You have to think in their terms to see, recognize and understand the symbols and mysteries…..I love the way Dan Brown does this in all his books-I am a HUGE fan. But, you have to remember, that he IS writing fiction. Part or "all of parts" are total fabrication for the purposes of entertainment.

Should I be mad ate her, and break things off?
I met this girl at school who is really cool. She always talks to me, or comes and picks me out of a group of people, even waits around on me for me to walk her to her apartment. Then a few days later me and her roomate were talking about random stuff. Then I started saying how cool Em was and she asks me if I could fight, and I was confused. No, she still does all that stuff, and she doesn’t have a brother or a close cousin. And I’m not really playing games. I’ve been hurt in the past by misinterpreting signals from flirtatious girls, so i’ve learned that creating space and stepping back shows who is genuinely interested and who is just flirting. Also, while we aren’t official, we might as well be, if you get my point. And I was going to ask her to be my GF, but then all of this happened.

First of all, I am confused by your actions, extra space on the couch, trying to seem not interested, and trying to "put signs out that [you're] not going for a relationship." So basically by doing all of these things you are appearing as though you are NOT interested, so you can see if she IS interested? There is not much logic in that. It sounds as though you were playing "games" and games are not the best way to go about a relationship of any kind.

From your actions she might have assumed you weren’t into her and just a friend. She sounded like she was interested at you at one point but you blew things off by acting not so interested. Maybe this boyfriend came about after the kissing and cuddling on the couch after she decided you weren’t interested. Or maybe she was talking to her brother and telling him she loved and missed him, those are things I’d tell my brother.

As far as breaking things off now, from what you have said, it doesn’t sound like you are together. But maybe you have left out some information and from what I have read and understood I am wrong. There is my two cents, take it for what it is worth to you, maybe nothing.
